Live-Mode Transactions

Once you've followed the steps in the previous page, you will see the option for 'Pi eCard' under the payment options in the checkout page of your store. When they click the place order button, the user will re-directed to a Pi eCard-managed transaction UI, inside the Pi Browser. The user will then be asked to enter their Pi eCard details and make a Pi transaction. Finally, they will be directed back to your online store and the order will be placed. The Pi will land immediately in the wallet you entered in your gateway dashboard (minus a 1.5% service fee, see here: https://gateway.piecard.app/pricing). A summary will also appear in your gateway dashboard.

Sandbox-Mode Transactions

To use the sandbox mode to test your integration, simply check 'Sandbox Mode' under the plugin's settings. When you go to the transaction UI, simply enter the username 'pioneer' and use any text for the password input. NO FUNDS WILL BE TRANSFERED. If the transaction is successful and the order is placed, you're all set to start taking Pi in your online store.

Make sure to un-check the Sandbox Mode setting before making your online store live, or you will not receive any Pi!
